For all those who want to benefit from edible mushrooms in surrounding forests are invited to a day of learning on mushroom foraging and cultivation. In the morning, we will present the best edible mushrooms of Northeastern North America, discuss basic precautions when collecting, and explore fungal gastronomy. In the afternoon, you will be introduced to outdoor mushroom cultivation. You will learn how to grow mushrooms on logs, in the garden, and in buckets, focusing on commonly cultivated species.
